Roan Mountain Paint Out at Roan Mountain Cloudland Parking Lot

June 12, 2012 to June 13, 2012
Beat the heat this month and take your painting to a higher elevation.  On Tuesday and Wednesday June 12 - 13 some of us will go up to Roan Mountain to paint, where it is about 20 degrees cooler.  Subject matter will include mountaintop views from grassy balds, Rhododendron in full bloom, Flame Azalea, beautiful Red Spruce and Frasier Fir trees, Appalachian Trail and clouds you can almost touch.  We will meet the first morning at the Cloudland Parking lot on the way up to Roan Gardens.  This is…See More
